New Delhi, Oct. 3 -- Taylor Swift has officially returned to the music scene with the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped on Friday, ending nearly two months of anticipation since its initial announcement on the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the album features one guest appearance from pop star Sabrina Carpenter and marks Swift's first new material since last year's critically acclaimed The Tortured Poets Department.
The lead single, "The Fate of Ophelia," is set to debut its music video this Sunday at 7 pm, directed and written by Swift herself.
