Ranchi, March 2 -- The Tata Group on Monday announced a fresh investment of Rs 11,000 crore in advanced steel technology at its Jamshedpur facility, along with plans to develop hydrogen-powered trucks and expand its presence in skill development, hospitality and CSR initiatives in Jharkhand.
The announcement followed a nearly two-hour meeting between Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Tata Group Chairman N. Chandrasekaran in Ranchi.
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister described the meeting as formal but meaningful. He said discussions focused on the state's development roadmap and potential areas of collaboration with the Group.
