Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- Sydney is poised for a cinematic celebration this October as the Indian Film Festival of Sydney makes its return, with Tannishtha Chatterjee's "Full Plate" selected as the opening night feature.

The three-day event, running from October 9 to October 11, will engage Sydney audiences with the best of Indian cinema and stories. The festival is organised by Mitu Bhowmick Lange AM, who is also the founder of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

This year's Sydney edition will open with actress-filmmaker Tannishtha Chatterjee's film Full Plate, produced by Ashutosh Goswami and Anup Chitnis.
