Pune, Feb. 9 -- National President of India Against Corruption and OBC leader Hemant Patil on Monday strongly condemned the attempt to desecrate the statue of social reformer Jyotiba Phule in Tellapur village of Sangareddy district in Telangana.
Terming it as "a pre-planned act of ideological terror", Patil said the attempt to topple the statue of a great leader who ignited the torch of social justice, equality, women's liberation, and Bahujan self-respect, is a dangerous attack on the very soul of the Constitution.
