Hyderabad, April 25 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday flagged off the transportation of Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 rocket, India's first privately built orbital launch vehicle, as it began its journey to the Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
The flag-off ceremony took place at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park, where the Chief Minister also reviewed facilities at Skyroot Aerospace. He was accompanied by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
Senior representatives of the company, including Board Member Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty and co-founders Pawan Kumar Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka, were present.
