Lucknow, March 12 -- A symbolic Dandi March was held in Lucknow on Thursday from Jan Bhavan to Lucknow University to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's historic Dandi March.
The march was organized under the guidance of Governor Anandiben Patel. Officer on Special Duty (Additional Chief Secretary level) Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde flagged off the march from Jan Bhavan.
The march began from the Jan Bhavan campus and concluded at the Malviya Hall of Lucknow University. A wreath was laid at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi located in the Jan Bhavan campus before the march began.
