Hyderabad, May 31 -- Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) on Saturday announced the launch of a nationwide campaign to inspire citizens to embrace indigenous (Swadeshi) products and boycott foreign goods, a movement aimed at reinforcing India's economic sovereignty and cultural identity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stirring address at a recent public gathering in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, where he urged, "Even if it brings profit, traders in every village must pledge not to sell foreign products," said Keshav Soni, Telangana Pranth Prachar Pramukh, in a release here.
Welcoming the Prime Minister's unequivocal call, he appealed to all organizations, institutions, and citizens to stand united in support of this national mission.
