Patna, May 10 -- Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi today said that the "visionary leadership" of Suvendu Adhikari, the new Chief Minister of West Bengal, would steer the state towards progress, good governance and new opportunities.
Saraogi described Adhikari's swearing-in as a "historic day" for the people of West Bengal and claimed that a "people-opposed government" had been defeated in the state elections.
He expressed confidence that the state would witness large-scale development under BJP leadership and said the formation of the BJP government in West Bengal for the first time was a significant moment for party workers across the country.
