Kolkata, Jan. 16 -- Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, filed a defamation suit against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday, accusing her of making baseless and defamatory allegations linking him to the coal scam.
Earlier Adhikari had announced legal action through if the Chief Minister failed to respond to a legal notice sent to her seeking proof of the allegations within 72 hours.
In his post, Adhikari wrote, "Mamata Banerjee, I honour my commitments while you obfuscate issues and people.
