Jaipur, Jan. 19 -- Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday condoled the death of migrant labourers from the state's Banswara district in a road accident in Gujrat's Surat and announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the next of kin of deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Mr Gehlot said deeply saddened to know about death of migrant labourers from Banswara. My heartfelt condolences to the family of deceased and prayers for speedy recovery of the injured.
The tragedy is heart-wrenching and the state government will be providing Rs 2 lakh compensation to the family of deceased and Rs 50,000 to those injured, he added.
