Thiruvananthapuram, April 9 -- Prominent Malayalam film celebrities, including superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty, joined thousands of voters across Kerala in exercising their franchise as polling for the Kerala Assembly Elections 2026 commenced on Thursday.
Veteran actor Mohanlal was among the early voters, casting his vote at a polling booth at Poojappura in Thiruvananthapuram around 7 am, setting an example for citizens to participate actively in the democratic process. His early appearance drew attention and underscored the importance of voter participation.
