New Delhi, March 3 -- Following the massive success of 'Border 2', Bollywood action icon Sunny Deol is back on the big screen, as shooting for his upcoming action thriller 'Antony' officially begins in Mumbai. The film also stars Tamil actress Jyotika, with Vijay Varma joining as the antagonist, marking his first collaboration with the 68-year-old superstar.
Shooting commenced on February 27 and is slated to wrap by July 2026, with a theatrical release planned for early 2027. The project is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment in association with A.R. Murugadoss' banner, and is being directed by debutante Balaji Ganesh, a Chennai-based filmmaker who has assisted Murugadoss on several large-scale projects.
