Pune, April 8 -- The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) has appointed its state general secretary and spokesperson Sunil Mane as the observer for Pimpri-Chinchwad city and district.

The appointment letter was handed over to Mane in Mumbai by the party's state president Shashikant Shinde. State general secretary Ravindra Pawar was also present on the occasion.

As an observer, Mane will be responsible for reviewing party activities at the city, taluka, and rural levels, including booth-level organization. His key duties include assessing the performance of various frontal wings and departmental units, strengthening the party organization, and ensuring active participation of workers.
