Baramati, May 4 -- In the Baramati by-election, at the end of the first round, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar is leading by 6,500 votes.
The counting of votes for the Baramati Assembly by-election has begun, and by the end of the first round, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar has taken a lead of 6,500 votes.
Voter turnout for the by-election was relatively low, with about 58.27 percent of voters casting their ballots. In the previous election, the turnout was 71.86 percent. The constituency has a total of 384,579 voters, of which 224,087 exercised their voting rights.
