Chennai, Feb. 14 -- Sumangala Steel today extended engineering scholarship to 53 students at the third edition of the SumangalaCSR Scholarship Initiative, "Ungal Kuzhandayum Aagalaam Engineer" (Your child too can become an engineer), this year.
The first and second edition awardees were also recognized. In all 53 students will be supported through this initiative with the total scholarship commitment of Rs.212 lakhs.
The scholarship initiative, launched in 2023, is the company's endeavour to help their community achieve its aspirations of makingtheir children engineers and covers their tuition fees for 3/4 years and gifts laptops.
