New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- Reacting to the discharge of AAP national convenor and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Excise Policy case, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi on Friday said the lower court had cleared him due to lack of evidence but raised questions over what he described as "technical issues" in the matter.

Speaking to reporters, Trivedi said the court acquitted Kejriwal in the absence of proof and termed the case a "technical subject."He alleged that hundreds of mobile phones and SIM cards were destroyed. He said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) would take appropriate steps to address the issue of alleged destruction of evidence.
