Berlin, Jan. 26 -- VfB Stuttgart extended its unbeaten Bundesliga run to six matches with a3-0 away win over Borussia Monchengladbach to strengthen its push for a Champions Leagueplace.
Stuttgart moved ahead after surviving an early scare, with goalkeeper Alexander Nubel saving Haris Tabakovic's 13th-minute penalty after Jamie Leweling was penalized for handball on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead on the half-hour when Nikolas Nartey crossed from the right and Leweling finished from close range after a defensive lapse from Joe Scally.
Stuttgart doubled its advantage in the 68th minute when Chris Fuhrich's inswinging corner caused confusion in the box and Scally turned the ball into his own net.
