Hyderabad, April 3 -- City Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar has issued a stern warning to those indulging in food adulteration, stating that playing with public health for personal gain will invite strict legal action.
He underlined that adulteration is not just an unlawful business practice but a serious threat to society.
The Commissioner was addressing an awareness seminar for food business operators organised under the aegis of 'H-FAST' at the Old Police Commissionerate office in Basheerbagh on Thursday.
Around 200 representatives from sectors including meat, dairy, bakery products, ginger-garlic paste, and tea powder participated in the programme.
