Hyderabad, April 7 -- Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha on Tuesday called for strengthening public healthcare through science, collaboration and evidence-based policies.
Addressing a World Health Day event at Ravindra Bharathi here, he highlighted the theme "Together for Health - Stand with Science" and said public health is the foundation of a developed society.
The Minister emphasised the critical role played by doctors, nurses and healthcare workers, particularly during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and said their contribution has been vital in safeguarding public health.
