Bengaluru, March 3 -- Amid extensive flight disruptions triggered by escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the first commercial flight from Abu Dhabi landed at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Monday night, bringing relief to stranded passengers.
Flight operations across the Gulf had been severely disrupted after military actions in the Middle East led to temporary airspace closures over much of West Asia, forcing carriers to suspend services and cancel flights between the region and India.
Limited evacuation and repatriation flights began as airspace gradually started reopening under strict safety protocols.
