Una(HP), Feb. 4 -- A stone pelting issue on the Jan Shatabdi Express train in Una, Himachal Pradesh has raised serious concern about the railway safety in the Una district. A recent incident occurred between the Anandpur Sahib and Nangal Dam railway section, where some miscreants threw stones at the train coaches. The windows of the coaches were shattered in the stone pelting. Fortunately, no passenger was injured in the incident.
An official spokesman said that the Jan Shatabdi Express was travelling from New Delhi to Una when some unknown miscreants targeted the train near the Jindbari area. The incident created a brief atmosphere of panic among the passengers. A video of the stone pelting is also going viral on social media.
