New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- The Indian stock market ended largely unchanged in a volatile trading session today amid gains in certain key stocks.
At close, the Sensex was down 40.28 points or 0.05 per cent at 84,233.64, while the Nifty edged up 18.70 points or 0.07 pc to 25,953.85.
BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index ended 0.02 pc lower, while the BSE 250 SmallCap Index climbed 0.13 pc.
Among the sectors, the key performers were Nifty Healthcare (up by 1.62 pc), Auto (by 1.30 pc), PSU Bank (by 1.03 pc) and Pharma (by 1.01 pc) while Nifty Bank ended 0.20 pc higher.
On Nifty, the top gainers were Eicher Motors (up by 6.45 pc), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (by 3.98 pc), and Max Healthcare Institute (by 3.33 pc).
