Solan, March 3 -- In a shocking incident reported from Salogra near Solan town, a two-and-a-half-year-old child was allegedly strangled to death by his stepfather following a domestic dispute. The police have arrested the accused after post-mortem findings confirmed homicide.
According to Superintendent of Police, Solan, T. Sai Dattatreya Verma, the accused has been identified as Raj Thapa, a native of Nepal. He is currently under interrogation. Preliminary investigation revealed that around 10 to 12 days prior to the incident, a dispute had taken place between the accused, his wife Tara Devi, and her former husband Rajendra Mahat over the upbringing of the child.
