Jaipur, Feb. 4 -- The standoff between the Treasury Benches and the Opposition in the Lok Sabha over LoP Rahul Gandhi's stance also echoed in the Rajasthan assembly on Tuesday as heated exchanges between the rival blocks forced 2 adjournments in a row.
The trouble erupted in the House when Sri Chand Kriplani (BJP) in debate on Vote of Thanks to the Governor for his inaugural speech, made comments against the LoP Gandhi for the latter's references based on an unpublished book.
Amid uproar in the House, LoP Rajasthan Tikaram Jully rose to raise a strong rebuttal on Kriplani. Jully said, "The member can not make a reference against one who is not a member of this house (assembly)".
