Chennai, Feb. 5 -- In a significant step towards promoting indigenous "Make in India, For the World" manufacturing, Tamil NaduChief Minister M K Stalin will launch Tata Motors Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) car manufcturing facility at the SIPCOT complex atPanapakkam village in Ranipet district on February nine.
This advanced, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility would create over 5,000 jobs directly and indirectly and contribute towardsbuilding future ready skills amongst the local communities in and around the plant.
Tata Motors has invested Rs 9.000 crore in this state-of-the-art for which Mr Stalin laid the foundation stone on September 28, 2024.
