Chennai, Feb. 2 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Monday inaugurated the two-day Global Tourism summitshowcasing the state's unmatched strengths, besides to attract investments and promote tourism.
Several MoUs were signed to boost the tourism sector in the presence of Mr Stalin, Tourism Minister R Rajendran andIndustries Minister TRB Raaja at the summit being held at the tourist resort and UNESCO heritage site of Mamallapuram,about 55 km from here.
A grand cultural show showcasing the traditional folk arts of Tamil Nadu greeted the domestic and foreign invitees.
