Chennai, Aug. 30 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today embarkedon a week long visit to Germany and United Kingfom (UK) to woo freshinvestments into the State as part achieving the ambitious goal of makingTN a USD One Trillion economy by 2030.
Mr Stalin was accorded a rousing send off by his Cabinet colleagues, includinghis son and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, senior DMK leaders,MPs, MLAs, party functionaries and leaders of alliance parties, who presentedbouquets, shawls and books, at the airport.
During his visit, Mr Stalin was expected to ink MoUs with leading firms toset up their businesses in the state to promote industrial developmemt, meetthe Tamil diaspora and address them.
