Chennai, Jan. 25 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today announcedstate government medals to 44 police personnel on the occasion of RepublicDay.
An official release said in recognition of their Excellence in Intelligence andExcellence in Special Operations by the Police Officers and Personnel ofIntelligence Unit, with a view to motivate them, the Chief Minister announcedthe Medal for Excellence in Intelligence and Excellence in Special Operationsawarded on the occasion of the Republic Day, every year.
