Maharajganj, March 9 -- The husband of a woman constable of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) allegedly killed his two minor children and later committed suicide in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police said.
According to police, the incident occurred around 7 am in the Gandhi Nagar area of Nautanwa, near the Nepal border.
The accused, identified as Amresh (40), allegedly hanged his 4-year-old son, Amarendra Kumar and 3-year-old daughter Kanchan using a rope tied to a window. After killing the children, he reportedly hanged himself from a hook on the ceiling.
