Chennai, Feb. 17 -- The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) today celebrated Matribhasha Diwas (Mother Tongue Day), to honour and preserve India's rich linguistic diversity and promote the use of mother tongues as a medium of cultural expression.
Organised by the Department of Language, Culture, and Society, with over 1000 attendees, the event brought together students, faculty, and language experts to reflect on the importance of multilingualism in a globalised world.
