Colombo, Feb. 10 -- Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Tuesday welcomed Pakistan's decision to proceed with the high-voltage India-Pakistan clash at the ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup in Colombo, thanking Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for ensuring the marquee match goes ahead as scheduled.

In a post on X, Dissanayake expressed gratitude to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the International Cricket Council (ICC), and other concerned authorities for their efforts in maintaining the continuity of the tournament.
