Giza (Egypt), May 11 -- India's challenge at the World Squash Championships 2026 ended after Veer Chotrani lost his second-round match against world No. 1 Mostafa Asal here.
Veer Chotrani, 45th in the men's squash rankings, lost 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-4) to local favourite and defending champion Mostafa Asal at the Palm Hills Club and PGC Golf Central Mall to bow out of the competition on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was the only one of the four Indian squash players in action at Giza to make it to the second round.
