Dharamshala, Jan. 28 -- Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has directed officials of the Jal Shakti Department to ensure the time-bound completion of drinking water, irrigation and sewerage schemes in Kangra district.
Chairing a review meeting of the department at the Circuit House in Dharamshala, Agnihotri said that the highest number of drinking water schemes-354 projects-had been sanctioned in Kangra district during the past three years, with an approved outlay of about Rs 3,240 crore. He stressed the need for regular monitoring of all drinking water, irrigation and sewerage projects to ensure improved public services.
