Patna, May 8 -- Newly-appointed Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal today said a special three-month campaign would be launched to dispose of pending works in the department.

After formally assuming charge, Jaiswal said here that transparency, accountability and speedy delivery of services to the public would be his top priorities. He said the state government is committed to making public services simpler and more accessible for common people.

The minister said the department is directly connected with the public and therefore its functioning needs to be made more effective. He said timely resolution of people's grievances remains a priority.
