Hyderabad, March 11 -- Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Wednesday dismissed the disqualification petitions filed against MLAs Danam Nagender and Kadiyam Srihari, stating that there was no evidence to prove that the two legislators had changed their political parties.
With this decision, the Speaker has effectively given relief to a total of 10 MLAs who had been facing allegations of party defection after being elected on the ticket of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and later extending support to the ruling Indian National Congress.
