Madrid, Sept. 23 -- The Spanish government has approved a "total" arms embargo on Israel, sharpening the diplomatic hostility between Madrid and Jerusalem, in light of the European country's increasingly anti-Israel policies under Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
The measure - a comprehensive package with multiple provisions - is meant to limit the IDF's military capabilities, and thereby forcing them to stop its "genocide in Gaza."The decree prohibits all exports to Israel of defence material and dual-use products or technologies, and the import of such equipment to Spain, said the country's Finance Minister Carlos Cuerpo says at a news conference, reports Times of Israel.
