Lucknow, April 27 -- Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased teenage girl in Ghazipur and that a four-member party delegation will meet the victim's fimily tomorrow to hand over the cheque.
The opposition leader also expressed apprehension that prices of petrol, diesel, LPG and fertilizers would increase once the assembly polls ends in five states.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav made it clear that his visit to Ghazipur on April 29 will depend on the delegation's meeting with the family on Tuesday. The delegation will be led by Ramasre Vishwakarma.
