Pune, July 19 -- The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over western Rajasthan, eastern Rajasthan, north interior Karnataka and active over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
It has been subdued over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Madhya Maharashtra, the IMD bulletin said.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in eastern Rajasthan, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.
These have occurred at many places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, north interior Karnataka, and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana, western Madhya Pradesh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat...
