Cape Town, April 4 -- With the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 on the horizon, South Africa have rested Marizanne Kapp for the upcoming ODIs in Sri Lanka.

South Africa Women on Friday named a 20-member squad for a training camp ahead of the tri-nation series against Sri Lanka and India later this month.

The week-long training camp - scheduled between April 6-14 - will feature three uncapped players - wicketkeeper-batter Karabo Meso, all-rounder Miane Smit and spinner Seshnie Naidu.

Meanwhile, seasoned all-rounder Marizanne Kapp is set to miss the camp as well as the upcoming tri-nation series in Sri Lanka.
