Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 25 -- : Kerala General Education and Labour Minister V. Sivankutty on Thursday described as "grave" the disclosures made by UDF convener and MP Adoor Prakash regarding meetings between Unnikrishnan Potti, the prime accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case, and former Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Sivankutty said Adoor Prakash's statement that he was unaware of who arranged the meeting with Sonia Gandhi, who is protected by a high-level security system, raises serious doubts.

He maintained that AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal is duty-bound to offer a clear and credible explanation.
