Sonbhadra, April 11 -- In a major breakthrough against cybercrime, the Sonbhadra Police have arrested the mastermind behind a large-scale online fraud network that duped victims of crores of rupees in the name of share trading.
The operation was carried out under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, with guidance from Additional SP (Headquarters) Anil Kumar and supervision from the Cyber Cell Circle Officer. The Cyber Crime Police Station team led the operation, officials said on Saturday.
