Patna, Jan. 10 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bihar unit president Sanjay Saraogi today said that the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, being observed across the country on completion of 1,000 years of the attack on it is a great opportunity to remember the nation's history, faith and self-respect.
Saraogi said here that the festival is being observed in the memory of those who sacrificed their lives while protecting the temple. Their sacrifices will continue to inspire the cultural consciousness of future generations, he added.
On the occasion of the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, Saraogi appealed to the party leaders and workers to participate actively in the programme.
