Pune, Sept. 1 -- Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis today said that some people are trying to politicize the Maratha quota stir for their own benefit, and warned that those trying to do so "will end up burning their mouths".

Fadnavis said this while visiting Pune today, where the impact of Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange's hunger strike in Mumbai was also seen.

Police took Maratha protesters in Pune into custody when they were protesting during Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' visit to the city here today.

CM Fadnavis was on a tour of Pune and inaugurated the Sinhgad Road flyover in Pune this afternoon.

Fadnavis is to visit several Ganesh mandals to seek the blessings of Ganesh Bappa.
