Kolkata, Jan. 29 -- Some Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) might face strong action after complaints were received by the Election Commission alleging deliberate errors in uploading documents during hearings under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.
According to Commission sources, the poll body has received complaints from special observers that several officials have intentionally uploaded incorrect documents on the Election Commission's website while processing records submitted during SIR hearings.
