New Delhi, June 10 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said on Tuesday that the sole aim of terrorism is to spread fear and destabilise societies across the world and therefore it must be decisively defeated.
Speaking at the 23rd NSG International Seminar here, he said that terrorism has become the most serious threat to global peace, development, and human rights.
"It is our experience that to completely defeat terrorism, we need more than just military action. Global cooperation is essential. Countries must come together, share intelligence, and expose the motives and mechanisms of terrorists to dismantle their networks effectively," Rai said.
