Patna , March 2 -- After initiative taken by the state government, solar panels have been installed at a total of 114 government buildings and also at public places, with 1528 KV capacity, which would help in not only producing electricity from solar power but also save the money of crores of rupees annually, spent in payment of electricity bills.
Official sources said here today that " Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali " mission was started inthe year 2019 to promote production of electricity from solar energy and protect environment. Such initiatives had started yielding good results and production of green energy increased considerably in the district, he added.
