Alappuzha, Jan. 21 -- : In a major development ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections, SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan announced on Wednesday that the SNDP has agreed to join hands with the Nair Service Society (NSS) to promote Hindu unity in the state.

Natesan said the initiative was first proposed by NSS leadership and later approved by the SNDP council. He also confirmed that SNDP Vice President Thushar Vellappally has been appointed to continue discussions with NSS representatives and finalise the partnership.
