Phagwara (Punjab), Feb. 11 -- Following the vandalism of Dr BR Ambedkar's statue on Republic Day in Amritsar, a six-member committee, constituted to probe the incident, has submitted its report to BJP National President JP Nadda in New Delhi recently.

The incident had sparked widespread outrage across Punjab, leading to heightened tensions in the region.

The panel, constituted by Nadda, was tasked with conducting an impartial investigation into the incident. The Committee comprises of former Union Minister Som Parkash, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Brij Lal, SC Morcha National President Lal Singh Arya, BJP spokesperson Guru Prakash Paswan, Uttar Pradesh Minister Aseem Arun, and BJP leader Banto Devi Kataria from Ambala.
