Hyderabad, May 1 -- Six members of a family, including two children, were killed in a horrific road accident near Shamshabad on Friday after a car rammed into a stationary lorry at Outer Ring Road (ORR) exit-16.
According to police, the impact was so severe that the car got wedged beneath the rear of the lorry, trapping the victims inside. Rescue teams rushed to the spot and, after a difficult operation, extricated the bodies from the mangled vehicle. One more person sustained serious injuries and has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
