Ranchi, Jan. 29 -- Six girls from Jharkhand have been selected in the Indian team for the SAFF Under-19 Women's Football Championship, bringing pride to the state.

The 23-member Indian squad, announced for the SAFF Under-19 Women's Football Championship to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from January 31 to February 7, 2026, includes four players - Elizabeth Lakra, Anita Dungdung, Suraj Muni Kumari and Vinita Horo - who are from the Residential Girls' Football Training Centre operated by the Jharkhand government at the Indoor Stadium, Gumla.
